The error is because Amazon £5 GCs are now only valid with orders OVER £7.50, and thus after the deducation, you fall below the minimum. (I had the same problem!)
A way round this, however, is to order two items (Cruel Intentions and another item), check out using the GC, then goto your account page and cancel the other item...You will then have the above item for £5 odd, with the coupon applied.
I know this works, `cos this is how I did it myself

What a flippin` bargain! Get an amazon.co.uk £5 GC from another.com. Then order Cruel Intentions for £9.99. Apply your GC in the cart and Wahooooo! Sarah Michelle Gellar and Reese Witherspoon for £5.85! Bargain! Shame I keep getting an error at place your order screen, anyone else get this??
