I think this is the right model but im looking for a hack to play VCD`s on this machine.

I don`t even know if this will play VCD`s or if anyone knows that it definatly won`t play these disks could they also please let me know.

Crown/Goodmans/Matsui MACROVISION HACK NEEDED!!

Just wonderin if anyone has found the macrovision hack for this DVd player yet.

Hey i`ve been looking for the hack to disable the macro for my Crown DVD player (same as those sold in sainsburys).
I really want to copy some DVD`s i have, i have already hacked to make it multiregional and also so it plays VCD`s.
If you come across the code can you please email it to me b`cos my Crown also goes under the name of Oritron,goodmans etc.

Hey if you have brought the DVD player that is also available in Sainsburys also called under several names such as Goodmans, matsui 110 and Crown.
I can tell you that i have hacked my player using the following code to allow you to play VCD`s. it allowed me to play several copied disks.
Here is the code:
-Insert a music CD and press stop on your remote.
-Press the menu button
-Press 1, Index menu button, eject
-a secret menu appears-if you press 1 this enables VCD playback.

Although apparently if you turn the main power off it loses its settings so write this code down.
