I got it as an mp3 off soulseek, only a minute or two long though.
Lite-on DVD-rewriter doesn`t recognise CD-Rs
Just got a new computer, but can`t burn cds as the drive doesn`t recognise blank CD-Rs. Its a Lite-on DVDRW LDW-851S and it backs up DVD okay. I have been using nero and music match jukebox and tried two different types of CD-Rs. Any ideas?

Does anybody have the Korean 2-disk version of this? The region 2 version is available from cdwow for £13.49 (using discount link) on monday, here is the only review I can find:

Hkflix have the korean version for about £14, which has DTS (which UK version doesn`t) and 2.0 soundtracks and seems to have the same extras, but do the extras have subs. Also, aren`t some Korean DVDs cut.

I ordered Indiana Jones Trilogy from dvdsoon when it came out. I think it was around £25 and I didn`t pay customs, but maybe I was lucky that time.

Hard Boiled DTS
dddhouse.com have a new remastered version of Hard Boiled with DTS for about £8. It couldn`t be any worse picture-wise than R2 version.

I got the R2 from cdwow last week and extras include a trailer.
It only cost £11.99, but I think the R1 sounds better.

The picture on Miller`s Crossing is good, but is a bit soft in some scenes.
The sound isn`t bad, as it is only 4.0 surround.
The extras are a 15 minute interview with Barry Sonnenfeld, some short interview clips with the cast, stills and trailers for Miller`s Crossing, Raising Arizona and Barton Fink.( the Miller`s Crossing trailer is 2.35 anamorphic, but the main feature is 1.85 anamorphic.)
But still a must buy.

I just watched Miller`s Crossing last night, it arrived yesterday from dvdsoon.com.
It was only £8.50 and, like most discs I pre-order from dvdsoon, I got it several days before the release date.
They also have Barton Fink at the same price.
I know alot of people don`t rate dvdsoon, but I never had any trouble with them.

I just got Hero this morning (for £7 from dddhouse), and the picture (anamorphic 2.35:1) is good and the sound (5.1) is even better.
But I just looked at their site and they are doing a two disk version with DTS sound for a few pound more!

I have the french release of Barton Fink, but it has burnt in french subtitles on the english language soundtrack (but no subtitles on the french dub), so hold on for the region 1 version. All their films are worth buying, and I can`t wait for Miller`s Crossing.

If you like Shaolin Soccer you`ll like So Close. It stars Vicki Zhao Wei (from Shaolin Soccer, but minus spots and with hair) and Shu Qi
as assassin sisters. It has John Woo style shoot outs, kung-fu, sword fights and lot hair blowing in the wind in slow motion.
