First both players do not have an RGB scart.Which is a shame...
I have had both players and the 5520 is worth the extra 10 quid imho
As the 2500 doesn`t have 5.1 or resume play.In order words if you are
half way thru a vcd/dvd etc and switch the player off the movie starts from the
beginning again.

I wouldn`t buy any hardware from dabs now.
My liteon combo drive broke down a couple weeks after i bought it
Dabs made me pay to return it and they don`t send a replacement
but send the broken drive back to liteon.Who in turn take 6 weeks to do this...
On the other hand SVP would send you a replacement straight away...

fixed the subwoofer problem via the dvd player.Trouble is
the centre speaker has basically zero sound coming from it,must a duff unit....

No matter how i setup the speakers i still get no sound from the subwoofer

Anybody know the code for a Yamada 5520 dvd player.
Got it working thru the manual search but just wondering if there is a better code for it

Anygood conected to 5.1 speakers?
Also if you power off halfway thru a movie and switch on again later will it resume playing from the same part of the movie?

Got this player today,plays all manner of discs,so pleased
But it doesn`t seem to have a resume play function.
What i mean is,if you`re halfway thru the movie and you power off,once you power on again the disc goes back to the start,not to the part where you last watched.Unless i am doing something wrong?
So anyone got this player and found a way of resume playing?

Toshiba SD220E Hack and original firmware details
If i peform this hack will by gaurantee be void?
Also can anyone tell me their original firmware details before they hacked there machine and if it stayed the same after hacking!

Cyberhome 528 dvdrom drive
Anybody ever removed the drive and put it in a PC?.Tried last night
but my PC wouldn`t see the drive...
Only tried because i need to rip a dvd and don`t wanna spend the cash on a dvdrom for one dvd!

Sony WS with a cyberhome player i believe its the latter that has the problem,so it could be your player?
