The first Jurassik Park was a great blockbuster movie, like this sequal, but story is overall quite thin. The story continues four years after the happenings in Jurassik Park. Some dinosaurus have lived in the near island without anyone disturbing them.John Hammond wants to make some documentary about those dinosaurus by sending Ian Malcom and some others there. The result is once again race against the death. The lost world has got more action and special effects than the first movie, but the feeling from the first movie is a little bit missing. This time the sequal is worse than the the first one, like usually.I didn`t ever want to have sequal to Jurassik Park, but Steven Spielberg does what he wants. This movie has got good excitement, but the plot is too simple and stupid, specially the ending of this movie was bad idea. The transfer is ok, but not as good as ine the first one, but more extras than the first one.

The Lost World: Jurassic Park is a great movie on a lot of levels. True, it has plot holes and some cheesy humour, but in terms of sheer DVD entertainment its right up there with the best. Jeff Goldblum gives a typically annoying, yet strangely likeable, performance as Dr. Ian Malcolm. British-born Pete Postlethwaite also gives a great performance as the hard-faced bounty hunter. The CGI work is great and looks totally seemless when compared to the live action set pieces of the movie. In my opinion, only a slightly inferior film to the original Jurassic Park.
The audio and video are of refernce quality throughout, looking & sounding great on my widescreen tv and dolby sound set up.
The quality of the extras is debatable, with the only real gems here being the 53 min doc and the deleted scenes. Recommended.
