Synopsis:
On the magic Summer`s night of high school`s end, Julie, Helen, Ray and Barry get into Barry`s new Beamer, and drive out to celebrate, their lives and hopes before them.

But on the road they have a terrible accident, hit and kill a man. In the shock and panic that follows, they dump the body in the sea rather than reporting the accident. As the body sinks, the hand of the dead man breaks the surface in a last grasp at life, then disappears into the murky depths. The four friends realise that they are now guilty of murder and swear to take their secret to their graves.
But now someone is stalking them, someone who knows who they are, knows what they did last Summer, and seeks revenge...

I really loved this movie!!! :) I enjoy most movies that make me jump out of my seat. This one sure did. :)
Of course, the story is kinda dumb, but who cares? :)
The video transfer is very nice. No pixelazation nor compression marks at all. The gore is very limited. The director spared us most of it. :)
The DD 5.1 audio track is awesome!!! It really gives you the creeps and scares the hell out of you in certain scenes.
The director`s commentary track is very informative and funny to listen to.
Watch this movie with your friends at night. Make a bet, who get scared the least. There are about 5-6 major scares in this movie and at least half of them would make you jump out of your seat. That is, if you`re human. :)
Watch for the twist... .
