What can two men do against a gang of crooked cops? Whatever it takes
    Certificate: R
    Running Time: 101 mins
    Retail Price: $24.98
    Release Date:

They should name a street or building after Detroit detective Orin Boyd (Steven Seagal). Instead, days after single-handedly throttling an army of political assassins, he`s busted to white-gloved traffic cop. Someone wants Boyd out of the way, someone who should follow this advice: call for backup.

Steven Seagal and DMX kick it up a notch in this searing action thriller from producer Joel Silver (The Matrix) that has them joining forces in a battle against police corruption. Andrzeg Bartkowiak (Romeo Must Die) directs, fusing starpower (including Isaiah Washington, Jill Hennessy and Tom Arnold), firepower and road-burning horsepower into scenes that push the action tachometer into the red zone.

A nice surprise. I was really not expecting anything more than a total BS, since neither Seagal nor DMX are real actors.
However, this turned out to be a rather enjoyable movie. Just make sure you don`t expect a twistless (predictable?!?) plot and you can sit back and enjoy it.
The video transfer is good. The transfer reveals no compression signs and the numerous dark scenes are nicely rendered.
The DD 5.1 soundtrack is very good. There are plenty of gun shots in the movie and the surrounds and the sub get a really good workout.
    The menus are all still.
The extras include 2 behind the scenes featurettes and a music video. Nothing too fancy.
Bottom line - turn up the volume, get lots of pop corn and enjoy.
