I have also been at the end of extreme advertising on TV in the states, one hour of origonal Star Trek took two hours viewing 

A good start within minutes of the first episode of the new season.

One second everything was fine and dandy, the next...in a big mess again 

Its the same format as ever, that keeps us riveted  

Latest episode, and my favorite 'love/hate' character POPE, takes a leading role, which is unexpected to say the least.

This is why the shows still got its good moments due to unpredictability  

Still following, anyone else still watching?

Been a really good season...this weeks was a suspense full edge of seat episode.

SPOILER:
The episode where the human/alien daughter is changing, and stops right at the moment of .... grrh, got to wait till next week now.

They've nicked the whole daughter element from the original V...

Well tonights episode......

SPOILER:
..fairly took a big chunk of the cast out of the picture, as they all died on screen, during the battle.  

No-one seems to be immune from being dumped out the script.

Well we are most of the way through season 5, anyone still watching?

Five years, who would have believed it.

This should be the finale in a week or two, and at least it has been a good Si-fi series to watch with a good script,  compared to some others on the go at the moment.

I've in the main enjoyed this, I've liked the relationship build between Noah Wyle and Will Patton.

There are definitely annoying elements I could live without such as the love triangle involving the two brothers and I really dislike the way they've turned Pope back into psycho bad guy - but then I don't really blame him as I suspect I would be the same if I'd lost Mira Sorvino...

it will be interesting to see how it plays out and ends. Hope its good.

After spending so many years watching a TV series, I get worried now if we get a dissapointing 'LOST' type ending.

That really rubbed me up the wrong way, as its just as bad as a series that does not have an end, and is just dumped mid-series.

I watched the first half of S1 and than all of final season of Lost and don't really feel like I missed out on anything...
