RE: [VIDEO] The 2014 Fifa World Cup
Well, that was never a penalty and Croatia should in my opinion have had a free kick in the lead up to goal number three...

Neymar should have taken Nay Mair part in the game. Great player but should have been straight red. Watched the Croatian, arm across the throat, no eyes on the ball. Straight red and the ref bottled it. As usual , the player concerned goes up the park and scores when he should have been off the park.

Well after the opening 2 games and the amount of frankly bent decisions from referees and linesmen I was rapidly falling out of love with this world cup, thank god spain, holland , chile and australia restored some of my faith in the beautiful game, and hopefully the next games will be talked about for fantastic open attractive football and not more diabolical decisions
The Spain Holland game was fantastic. One of the most entertaining world cups games I've ever seen. Restored my faith in football :-)
Good performance I thought.
Sterling gets top marks. Almost any other player getting the ball in that position would have passed back or at least sideways instead he puts an inch perfect ball to Rooney who puts a cross right on Sturridges boot.
A Shame the rest of his performance wasn't up to that. He could end his career with no WC goals at this rate.

I used to be with it, but then they changed what `it` was.
Now, what I`m with isn`t it, and what`s `it` seems weird and scary
I thought Sterling was a breath of fresh air, but the Italians as ever got their tactics spot on and put one over on Roy, I mean who would have thought they would target Baines as the weak link? I am sure most if not everyone would have imagined they would have targeted Johnson on the right, so now to see if the manager has the balls to drop Rooney and Baines and bring in Shaw and a recognised wide player and either push Rooney up front or drop all together and see him throw his toys out of the pram :)
EDIT: On the plus side, Rooneys hair is magnificent :)
++ Side that Free Kick was ridiculous....so wish it had went in just to see it over and over again :)
