Guess the day Southampton sign Wanyama for £12.5 million quid and a week before our 1st CL qualifier is as good as any to start this thread, have signed 3 players so far 2 center backs and a striker...like last season our pre season results have been poor but more worrying is the amount of injuries we have picked up :(

Re Wanyama im amazed a bigger club than the saints didnt bid for him tbh and e bit more amazed at just how much money Southampton have but great piece of business for a player we picked up 2 years ago for 900k

Got Elfsborg next 2 weeks, huge games and without Hooper who Norwich got for £5 million, gonna be interesting to see how we replace him...tough ask :( but good luck to him, can see him scoring goals with RVW down there...maybe even top english goalscorer this season and a call up for Brazil..sure thats why he moved.

So we have brought in £20 million in transfers for Wanyama £12.5 million, Hooper £5 million and Wilson back to forest for £2.5 million and it seems the selling clubs have raised their prices for the players we want accordingly :(... gonna be a long pre season and the game in Khazakstan is bad enough without it being on another artificial pitch...hoping we can keep it tight and give us a decent chance in the return leg

Absolute train wreck of a match, played into their strengths, our back 4 were woeful, forster looked a nervous wreck, Commons apart the midfield had no craft and Sammy didnt do enough (albeit up front against 3 center backs), just shows that you cant lose 3 1st choice players and not replace them like for like and expect to continue as if nothing has changed. Having said that 442 at home we can turn it around, but we shouldnt have to and I worry about them scoring an away goal from a set piece again.

Well we got what we deserved over the 2 legs and roll on the draw, hopefully that carrot will help us pick up 2 class players, a cb and striker i think are desperately needed.

Well I know they use the phrase group of death willy nilly  but Barca, AC Milan and Ajax.....Glamorous certainly , nigh on impossible to qualify probably too :(

Not too unhappy about our group, but I think that probably goes for any group that isn't yours. :)

Well Barca have a couple of injuries....obviously losing Messi is not exactly bad news but I still fear a spanking tbh....our defence has been shocking and while the crowd will as per get us on the front foot and we have proved on our night we can beat anyone I do for some reason fear the worst tomorrow (probably as its my birthday and I couldn't get that lucky) probably has something to do with it.

Gutted, ridiculous sending off, 2 great chances even with 10 men and if anyone thinks Hart is Englands top keeper now...well check out the big man this season and Harts shockers.
