Apple Vision Pro

I mean, not at this price, and I never realised until earlier this week that when you see someone's face through the Vision's goggles it's actually LCD screens faking it and this is true VR using pass through AR, but this is super interesting...

the guy on the tube "enjoy your adventure" :)

and I want a Krispy Kreme now, but I don't because when I did my Tesco shop yesterday I saw how expensive they are, I mean they're nice, but not that nice.

Fine when your being followed round by a camera and obviously 'doing a piece'.

You or I put one on and walk round the town centre and we'll be in casualty talking to a PC while we're being stitched up, or worse.
From either being mugged or walking under a bus.

A novelty but even take a nought off the price and it's still not for me.

As he says at the end of the video, it's not worth it now, but considering this will be the worst headset Apple ever make, there should come a time when this is cheaper and lighter and more like glasses, and that makes it a whole new product.

Still a no.
You're still going to get more people walking under buses (they already do just looking at phones)
Car crashes. You can bet your last fiver someone will be watching their soap or facetiming while driving to work.
That's just two scenarios that spring to mind.
In specific cases I can see it being useful but not for general wear.

I have no doubt that Mr Musk has a similar long term plan for his neuralink and I've thought for sometime there will be an iPlant in the future.

Where are all the conspiracy twats that were screaming about Bill Gates chips in the vaccine?

It's quite clever in that if you move, whatever is in your field of view gets left behind so you have to stop and get run over by a bus rather than walk under one.

Nothing better than advertising in your face....not.
There is enough advertising in this world as it is.

More importantly, as many have said above, it is better to have clear vision and eyes in the back of your head in New York, in case of a mugging.
Yes, New York does get bad press.
