Hi Guys

Ok I have the above mentioned TV and I`m trying to access a browser, I have connected my Ethernet cable and according to the setup on the tv its connected to the router fine.

I just dont know how to access a browser using my remote, please help! Ive tried everything

Is there a Vieracast or Viera Connect button on your remote? Pressing that should start up the TV specific browser.

I had a look at the manual and it doesn`t look like it`s a Smart TV, so no browser and no apps...

The ethernet connection is for Internet services provided by the DVB broadcaster. So in this case it`s the Internet channels that are carries with the Freeview platform. If it was a Freesat TV that would be BBC iPlayer, but on Freeview it`s the channels in the 200s in the listing...

From Vision to SAB TV, 225 to 236.

The Freeview listing hosts the channel, but the actual channel is carried from the Internet. The crappy thing here is that the Panasonic HD TVs have the ethernet connection, but Panasonic hasn`t updated the software to display the channel. With the Internet linked, you`ll probably get a message saying that your device isn`t ready to display the channel. Remove the ethernet cable, and you`ll get a `ethernet cable not connected message`

On my TV, I get a TV not ready message on all but Racing UK and Sport Tonight Live. Racing UK loads the frames, but nothing else, Sports Tonight Live offers some content, but no usability.

Give those channels a try and see what happens, but as it goes, I don`t think you have a smart TV.

very helpfull mate thankyou, I did think of just buying a remote with the viera cast button but dont spose that would work either?

Afraid not. It`s a function of the TV, not the remote...
