Hi.
Can anyone help me find a multiregion hack for a Samsung HT-Q20?

Try this one it is a common HT- Q series Hack

1. Remove Disc from Tray.
2. Switch Off Player
3. Wait 30 Seconds, Then Reconnect Mains.
4. Turn On player with Remote Control. Wait for player to Finish Loading and Display `No Disc`.
5. Press Enter on Remote Control. (There will be No On-Screen Response.)
6. Press 8, 4, 2, 6, 9 on the remote. (There will be No On-screen Response.)
7. Press Enter on the Remote Control. Player will Automatically Turn Off.
8. Turn Player On.
9. Open Tray
10. Close tray.
11. Turn Player Off then On Again.
12. Player is Now Region Free.

what i mean is if it breaks and i have to send it them for repair, will they know?

I knew Exactly what you meant

I suppose if they looked Hard Enough they would Know ...The Question is Why would they look

But you have Not Opened up the Player in any way and although unlikely it is Posssible to Press the Keys in that order Accidentally anyway

Also you are not Using any Firmware Update Disks...you are only applying a Hack which after all is Built into the Players System ...Not an added extra.

Also would you have so little confidence in a Product you have Purchased that you are Expecting it to Fail .....Most Decent Shops just Exchange Products these Days anyway although Some do not.

You could just plead Ignorance....I would.....But I do agree that it is possible to Invalidate the Warantee by doing this and I am sure that there would be some that will use Any Excuse not to Repair the Product .....It would just depend on how the Outlet you Purchased it from Viewed it ...That I cannot answer.

Ultimately it is Up to you ....Personally I would apply the Hack ...But I am not you....it is your call

Maybe someone Else has had some Experience of This
