The King has cancer

I dunno, you wait decades for a coronation to come along...

But seriously (folks), I wouldn't wish it on anyone, but the outlook is better than most, as Prostate cancer is normally the slowest of the bunch with the better prognosis. As others have mentioned after their own diagnoses, their doctors have reassured them that something else is more likely to do them in before the cancer does.

I'm not aware it's prostate cancer he has but nice to see he's started his treatment the same day.
My mate was diagnosed just before Christmas. He's got 8 weeks more to wait for Chemo. 🤬😭

Definitely not Prostate cancer but no admission of which cancer it is or at what stage.
I don't wish the bloke any harm but I'm already pi**ed off with the media trying to get as close to his prostate as the doctors

I looked into it slightly when I heard yesterday, and wasn't really surprised to hear that as early as the middle of last year the gutter rags were already speculating about how long Charles would be on the throne, and what would happen if he abdicates. Jolly buggers, aren't they?

As someone who has lost a parent, and grandparent to this disease, please get yourselves a PSA blood test from your GP, in the first instance.

I hate the 'C' word, have already seen so many friends and colleagues go to the grave with it. Worst was a friend who was waiting all his life to enjoy retirement life, and only got 6 weeks of it.

So be it a King to a pauper, we are all at risk.
