Ok who here has been to New York?I was born in Brooklyn NY .And years ago worked in New York in several nice locations like 5th ave to 8th ave.😱Crazy memories!,Want to share your memories?

Only to Manhattan. Did the usual tourist spots, in some respects I found it like being back in the 80s the way some men talk openly about women on the streets.

But mostly it was okay, but coming from London just not as different as other parts of the US that I've been to.

Was there last November for the regulation long weekend.
Hit all the tourist spots including this time the 911 museum which was a moving experience.

'Oh everything's so fast over there' Not when you were born and bred in London. Seemed perfectly normal to me. Don't find New Yorkers rude at all. Apart from one Pizza restaurant where I think there was some kind of staff/management row going on and they were just short of getting a slap.
Damn but you Yanks love a rule don't you. 'Behind the line please sir' and blank you until you comply.

I'd love to live there for a while to experience the place properly but that's not happening this side of a lottery win.

Been twice, 1st time was november before sept 11 when i lived in states, got a great staff rate at the marriot on 6th ave which baffled the staff there, was freezing but i had a fantastic time, then went 4 years later and went to ground zero but with all the japanese tourists around there taking photos of everything i felt out of place tbh. New York was my favourite destination till i visited Vegas, now that tops my list :) nothing like walking down 5th avenue with deacon blue on my tunes, was pretty surreal

Glad you gents love or liked New York, Yes New Yorkers get off on rules lol what better time to gain control in a crazy city.Oh you Londoners you are so cute!But also its very dangerous ,too many crazys off their meds walking in the crowds.So please never ever let you guards down.I am a bit relax in New Jersey but still with one eye open😜

Used to go the West Coast (L.A) on business, and as you say never let your guard down especially at night.

Seemed like being on a television set most of the time, with CHIPS police walking into the restaurant, gold helmets and motorbikes, but with REAL guns, brings you back to reality. Though did see a lot of the toursit hotspots including Disneyland, between meetings.

Must try visiting New York sometime, though on holiday preferably.

When I was a very young senorita working in NYC , at least once a week I would fall down on the street cause of my high heel shoes😡 Embarrassing! After a while I felt some of the store keepers were placing bets what day I would fall. Don't ask me how was the lovely train ride especially with those men in trench coats!Remember poor Bridget Jones embarrassing moments I felt like the odd one 😟

Want to go to New York this coming Saturday but a bit nervous after what happen in Orlando Florida😟
