The morning after the night before.
Rolling over and seeing that face on the pillow and thinking.
Oh no! We didn't did we.

So bloody relieved. Not as close as the pundits were claiming, but still telling in areas, with both Glasgow & Dundee voting yes.

This was never deliberately about scaremongering, which was Salmond's word du jour, but dammit, that smug idiot was pontificating about buttercups and rainbows, when it simply wasn't going to be like that. The yes camp needed a reality slap and it seems like it's still stinging.

Well done, happy you're sticking around, we would have missed you

This! And also you'll get more devolution out of it in the next parliament, so it wasn't a total loss.

With Scotland and Wales now joint in the football team rankings, we should use the No vote as a spring board for a team GB!

Not looking forward to a disappointed wife coming home tonight from Scotland. I have to pick her up at Heathrow airport.

She did her bit and voted YES via her clan conscience.

Like him or not, got to respect the decision, if it had been a yes Call me Dave would have needed a horse, cart and a stick of dynamite to get him out of number 10.

Personally, no. He failed, after 2 years of campaigning, to convince the majority of Scotland that his personal agenda was the way forward for an entire country. Having been proven wrong, he's jumped ship, knowing he'll never get another chance, in his political lifetime, to be the first President of Scotland again.

FFS he IS doing his job. First Minister of Scottish Government and the first to have an overall majority in our government. Not exactly the abject failure you appear to imply he is or has been.
Sadly from my standpoint the vote was a NO however that in no way should detract from what he has done.
Free prescriptions, 15 hours free nursery for bairns. Minimising the hardship caused by the bedroom tax by helping those in desperate need. Yes indeed an abject failure.
On another point I can only guess that Cameron and lap dancer clegg will honour the "Vow" they proudly made the other day. It appears that Milliband is already contemplating reneging on it so if tuition fees are anything to go by so will Clegg.
Regarding Buttercups etc. Must be a different man I have been listening to. Never once did the Yes campaign state everything was going to be rosey. They always stated that there were risks and uncertainties but they also stated that they believed their plans would alleviate or negate these .
The votes have been counted, now it is up to the three amigos to deliver.
