Where are you staying at?

When we go to Spain we usually eat foreign food. The Spanish restaurant we like a lot is a restaurant called `Casa Juan` (The Singing Chef). He is just outside Moraira (between Calpe & Javea (Xabia). From Moraira take the road towards Calpe. He is on the left hand side Just before a big `Pepe la Sal` supermarket. He cooks all the food over a log flame & after, sings Spanish songs. He is very good. On a Thursday he also has a couple of other singers join him, so that`s the best day. Normally you need to book, but I`m not sure about this time of year.
If you want a really cheap but GOOD english meal then in Javea (Xabia) there is a massive restaurant called `Scallops`.overlooking a lovely bay. They do a meal for € 7.99 that consists of a Starter, Main meal, sweet & a BOTTLE OF WINE EACH. That`s around £5-00. You can also have dearer selections as well. It`s always packed. I know of many good restaurants around the area but Casa Juan is the best one for me.

Try Fernando`s. It costs a lot, makes lots of noise, pretty anti-social, you`re kept waiting for him and in the end doesn`t deliver. :D :D :D :D :D

I`m sorry, couldn`t resist ;)
