Ok, I am going to go into this two-fold.

1. as a member of the public. The functionality is fine, but incredibly basic. Looks like the skin has been copied from a whole number of similar sites and certainly wouldnt make me part up with my cash. Actually looks like it has been copied from one of the guys who sell the same info on ebay using an ebay template.

2. as someone who works in online gaming. I dont know anyone who would give their money to a site like this. It doesnt look professional, if anything seems like a syndicate scam page. Not enough factual info, and too text heavy. Very amateurish

I;m not a good one for site design to be honest so i cant help there, however as a suggestion to mull over . . . . . .

I;d have thought a more obvious link to the results would make sense given that anyone who you want to join is presumably interested in what they can return on their money.

Maybe some visual aid (a graph or chart of some sort) showing Return on Investment (RoI) should be a focal point on the main page and then a more obvious link to the monthly results page can be put next to /underneath so that people can then easily go straight to the most important detail

(obviously I imagine this could be detrimental if the results stats arent favourable but if your mate has confidence in what he is doing then the overall RoI should be positive overall so a losing streak will only show once someone goes to the more detailed link and i;d imagine most people getting to that point will be able to sift through the info and identify the "big picture" positive results)

one little thing.. maybe expand the box around the text a bit.. it looks really cramped.
best to give it at least 10mm clearance i reckon..

Cheers mate, designwise that`s pretty much what I`ve said, not sure what they`re using to code it...

As far as the content goes... They went through the process of signing up to other sites etc but found they got better results of their own backs (and seeing other sites doing it felt they could make a bit from it), not a scam just a couple of lads trying to make some extra cash...

I have to say, if i was sent it blind, i would think it was a scam..
but that`s just the nature of the beast I reckon... I ask my mum if she "has spat in that..." every time she offers me something to eat..

trust no one. which is a shame.

good luck to them though. lord knows we could all do with a bit of extra cash.

Website looks ok to me,if a little bland.
A mate and I tried one of these things about 8 years ago.
An Indian guy who was in all the national papers as the UK`s `most successful football punter` decided to set up the same thing.
Idea was,you joined up and were given a mobile number to call.
You then phoned on a Saturday morning and followed his tips to the letter.
If you went with his stakes (difficult,as it often involved £100`s) he practically guaranteed to make you around £26K tax free over the course of a year.
Trouble was,his tips were absolutely s*** for about 4 months,so we jacked it in.
Combine the stakes with his fees and we were well down. :(
Sticking with it for the long run is easy to say, hard to do.

I agree with whoot, it looks like a scam. I would never pay any money to a web site that only gives an email address under the contact section. I always like to see an address and land line number.

Good luck with the project.

Sam.
