Its a combination of 2 pictures that I created taken from the Heineken brewery in Amsterdam when I was there.

Although vinegar Jones, is it correct that vinegar is made from (in some circumstance) beer that is essentially gone off?

Yes i think so, but most people prefer vinegar made from delicious old wine - literally `vinegar` means `eager wine`, wine that has matured too fast!
