Spiny Norman (Elite) posted this on Tuesday, 1st May 2001, 21:56

OK
The usual stuff from warner with some goddies thrown in.

248 titles in all !

http://www.hmv.co.uk/ (and click the button)

highlights (for me) were:-

Mad Max 2 & 3
Merlin -TV Series
Life is beautiful
Little voice
Mrs Brown
Outlaw Josey Wales
Rebel without a cause
Rocketeer (I know, but I liked it)
The searchers(western, not the group!)
Song remains the same (a bit of Headbanging stuff !)
Space Jam(OK for Kids)
Wild Bunch-Directors cut
Enter the dragon : WS

These boys charge postage so look out for the extra charges.
Oh, and use the next button on the bottom of the page - 248 titles live on more than 10 pages!

Enjoy

Are you sure about that? The usual rule is that anything on offer does not have the NUS discount on it.

Everytime I have order with the NUS when they have an offer it always work on their site. I think the site can`t work out that the price being discounted is an offer price, hence should not apply to it. But I haven`t tried on this offer since I just got married hence completely 100% broke.

NB: if any of you have a Royal Bank of Scotland account you can get 20% from Virgin by calling the royalities line as well.

McBain said `Why not go down to the shop and save yourself some money...`

Yeah, I sometimes do. But My HMV in Romford/Essex doesn`t have all the titles all of the time.

I think most of the `regional` shops get a %age of the titles on a rolling basis. Also, if you add the travel costs together (for me anyway) they usually outweigh the postage...

Good point tho..
