I watched this the other night, not bad - Seagal not quite as "Active" in this film, but decent effort.
He has another new one out (Just shipping R1) called "The Foreigner". Don`t know what to expect from this one, hopefully more like Under Siege than Patriot or Ticker!

I don`t think it is 5 minutes longer, it`s just that NTSC runs slower than PAL so films from america do last on average 5 minutes longer - no extra footage though!

Todays DVD brought the total to 1,268!!!
8 are on their way, with about 50 on pre-order!
Not wall-to-wall.....About 1 and a half walls!
Will be looking to start on another wall soon though!

I placed a large order on 3/2 and got usual confirmation and "You`ve Paid" emails. Checked order status today, as none had shipped, only to find "That order does not exist!!!"
Bit peed off to say the least.
Anyone else had this?

At the final step, it will give you a choice of currencies and each amount is listed. Choose English sterling and work out the rate you`re getting. Well above what the credit card company will. You will be charged in pounds so no conversion cost.
My last transaction in dollars, I got the rate of 1.54 from my credit card company - with this system it`s 1.66!!!

when you order from the net site and change currency to £ when paying, the rate is about 1.66, which means Alomst Famous is £3.58!!
Frailty is a great film and great price, about £5.50

I`m not suprised people are speaking out, I just wanted to state my case aswell. With most retailers there are horror stories, but if people just read these it wouldn`t be a fair assessment.
I never said they are perfect, just that they aren`t always bad. As you said, you make your own choice, and at the moment mine is dvdsoon!

I agree. Over 150 ordered, never waited longer than 10 days - normally 5-7 days.
Normally quick at sneding pre-orders before release date - got Bourne Identity a week before and XXX well before.
Not the best at replying to emails, but so cheap!

Bought both, but not watched the exended version yet.
I watch most films now, in bed, on my portable dvd player, instead of reading (It winds me down!) But I want to watch this on my Sony in full glorious DTS, but the wife won`t watch it, so I`m still waiting for the opportunity!

Have to agree. CD-WOW are super quick.
One recent DVD arrived the day after shipment notice. Less than 24 hours!
Also I ordered Devils Advocate SE R4 which they listed as having 30 minutes of deleted scenes. Needless to say, it didn`t, but I phoned them and they are sending a prepaid envelope to send it back in!
Wish dvdsoon would answer my emails about Romper Stomper which was supposed to be 2 disc with DTS etc. Turned out to be bog standard full screen copy which I already have. 3 emails sent, still no reply!!
If they weren`t so cheap, I would stop using them!
(This is my first problem after 150 or so orders!)

They mark all parcels as $12 in value, even my boxset Sopranos 3!!
I`ve always order individually (Well over 100 orders) but am now thinking of ordering in bulk, so you only pay $1.60 per film, if they ship as released. Would save me £1 a disc (About £150 a year!)
Still won`t answer my emails though!

Ordered mine from dvdsoon for about £11.20 delivered.
They tend to ship a bit quicker than cdwow, although cdwow discs do get here in about 3 days!

I spoke to someone at MGM about Rocky boxset when this first came to light.
He said to send it in, but I was waiting to hear if anyone else had, and I hadn`t got my Terminator or Silnce back then!
They all seem to play OK, but 3 films cloudy!

My copy was sent from dvdsoon a couple of days ago.
In my experience (Over 200 ordered) I`ve only once waited longer than 5-7 days. Sometimes it`s taken 3!! But on average 5 days max!

Now up to 1,142 after a visit to Game!
Out of all of these about 10 are ones I wouldn`t have bought in hindsight, but I preorder a lot without too much knowledge!
I work hard for my money, and see this as my treat for that work!
Amazingly, my wife doesn`t seem to mind too much - as long as she gets her clothes!

I think the life of Plasma screens is about 10,000 hours.
I would never buy a display model, because it may well have done a few thousand hours already!

That`s one thousand, one hundred and thirty eight.
Most were unwatched until I bought my portable player a year ago, and now watch a film every night in bed - it`s replaced a book!
