Thanks to poster, went for fern Gully, Die HArd and Last boy Scout.

Green Mile seems to have sold out >:(

RE: I need a DVd Home Cinema kit for under £100....

WH Smith had one down £35 in their recent sale, I bought this as a spare and its a real bargain. The make was Technosonic. Might be worthwhile checking your local WH Smiths just in case they have any left.

The Bush system was nationwide, multiregion with a hack too. Bought one for my sons birthday in the Greenock store. I paid £79, so at £59 its a good deal.

Also bought the Yamada from E buyer last year, got this in the lounge.

RE: Virgin DVD Sale.....

American Werewolf (Anniversary 2 disk-er) a classic assuming it is in London

I Spit on your Grave - seen the uncut version in the early 80`s, I still cringe at that bath scene. :o

If your happy with the price thats all that matters !!

RE: DVDOO - Several movies at 39Kr (£3.50)

i don`t think there is a langauge button option.

When I ordered I think delivery was 10-15Kr, The deerhunter cost me £8.30 inc delivery (That was when it cost 99Kr) I`ve pasted in how to order below.

Courtesy of Carlito8 in a previous thread here is how to order....

Find whatever you are wanting and click on the little orange `k0b` box near the price at the top of the screen.

Once you have finished getting everything you want click on `til kassen` on the left hand side meaning checkout.

Check your order is o.k and then either login using your e-mail address and password for repeat customers or click on `ny kunde` to enter your details and setup a new account. The bit at the bottom about password refers to the password YOU would like to use to enter the site.

When entering your c.c details the small box below the main number field is for the 3 check digits on the back of your card (near where your signature is) Why they need this I don`t know but they do.

Hope this helps you out....

DVDOO - Several movies at 39Kr (£3.50)

Nicked from another forum........

Superman, The Deerhunter and Caligula (allegedly uncut) at DVDOO.COM. All are at 39Kr - Danish Site, dvd usually always in English.

I bought The Deerhunter from them last year and it`s in English with no foreign subtitles. Worth a go.........

RE: LG 32` nicam, superflat, pureflat £379 inc del

RE: Usual Suspects 2 Disc Special Edition at Play - £9.99

RE: LG 20

RE: LG 20

Where did you get the DVD Hi-Fi from ?

Is it any good ? Cheers.........

RE: LG 20

I didn`t think there was an orange version, do you mean the red ?

Dixons/Currys sites are quite misleading, going by another forum there is definately only 1 scart on the red, Dixons were only selling the red last week I think. Here is a review site for the telly.....

http://www.whatvideotv.com/testbench/index.html and search for LG under TVs, you`ll find the LG NETEE CE-20J3RX there 8/10 at £230.

I`m not sure about the Text/fastext as Miller Brothers has the green with Fastext, I prefer good old teletext though just to be awkward....

Still at under £94 its still VFM.

RE: LG 20" `designer` TV approx £94 delivered...

You have to register with them but its straightforward enough, there is a bargains section with probably too many entries for me, takes ages to read, but I suppose thats nitpicking..

Bargain Buckets is more pleasing on the eye, again only in my opinion.

Find the DVD forums at http://www.thedvdforums.com/

LG 20" `designer` TV approx £94 delivered...

....with the 10 % off dixons voucher 10offrep2.

It`s £199 at Argos and more at Comet, its available in Silver with Red, Green and possibly Blue fronts. Find it at www.dixons.co.uk

If anyone is interested in the GREEN one it is still available
- just type LG CE20J3GX into the search engine on the Dixons site

Apologies if this has been posted earlier.....

RE: argos sony dvd bargain!!!

Max, it was online that I tried to order it. I also tried instore yesterday but they said this model was only stocked at their warehouse.

RE: argos sony dvd bargain!!!

Does anyone have a link to a review of this system, I know its not multiregion unless chipped.

Does anyone have one, if so does it connect easily to TV and can you play TV and video through the amplifier,

Any info appreciated.......

Not DVD related but still good value

With the two weeks abroad coming up for some its Suncream and Aftersun time again.

Boots own make Sun cream (Soltan, I think) is on offer, buy one get on free.

I bought 2 400ml suncream factor 4 and 6 and 2 400ml aftersuns, I also used a coupon for £5 off in Boots that was in last weeks Sun. Savings of £23 approximately.......

Now all I need to do is remember to put on during the first day when I`ll probably be bevvied, if not then its a week in the shade.....

RE: 2 DVD`s for £12.99 at HMV...Warner & EV Back Catalogue

A good selection available online.....

Does anyone know how much the P&P is for each DVD ?

Home Cinema Bargains at Safeway ?

Safeway are offering two home cinema packages from trailers within their car park this weekend. Thay are...........

LG3520 at £249 and Sony DAV300 at £329.

I`m not too sure if they are real bargains but I thought I`d give it a mention.

RE: Bush Pro300 still available £59.99

Clayts,
Greenock branch in Scotland..... Might go down £99 as you forcasted or I am hoping for too much ?

Anyway I`m quite happy with the Dansai for the time being......

RE: Bush Pro300 still available £59.99

Try any Safeways who were selling them at £59.99, they`ll be mostly sold out though. I returned mine as my Dansaii didn`t have the 6 phono outputs the speaker system needs.

The Wharfdale M5 does though and its down from £149 to £129 at tesco I might buy it at £99, if it comes down to £99 post a message !!!

Poor Darius !! I spent 50p voting for him Sad am i not !!

RE: Happy New Year - Bargain Hunters

Could not agree more, I`ll be ill tomorrow after a night on the cider so I thought I`d reply tonight.....

Keep the bargains coming !! All the best for 2002.

RE: Currys Home cinema theatre kit for less than £100 Boxing day only

Its the Grundig DVD - Home Theatre kit which normally sells for £199, I think the model number is 620 and I believe it is similar to the Goodmans Home Theatre kit that also sells for £199.

The Goodmans is multi-region with a remote hack.

For more details on either I would check the hardware or hack forum.
