You need to Download AnyDVD from Slysoft sits in the system tray (it ignores `faulty` sectors...) it will then allow you to `backup` the DVD`s.

Somehow I dont think so .....

The higher the refresh rate the easier on the eyes ... anything between 70 - 85 Hz should be fine

Could also be cause by power management, look at the network card properties and see if the tick box for power management is selected.

Funny you should start this thread ... was busy catalogging my cd collection the other day and decided to copy all of the videos from various cd singles ... created a svcd using nero which had a nice menu and preview of the videos on a menu screen !! go on give it a go

Problem is caused by a duff firewall rule being created in the firewall rules blocking all traffic on port 80 ... literally unticking 1 tick box ... or can be fixed by disabling firewall and running a liveupdate

I work for a computer dealership in newcastle who are a reseller for evesham - we get machines built from the supplier in 7-10 days ... sometimes quicker sometimes slower .. depends on how busy they are
