Just out of interest...

Why are some titles being pulled and others not with NY skyline featuring the towers in them, for example my missus watches Sex in the City avidly and the opening credits for that feature the twin towers more prominently than any other film/series I`ve seen, and it`s all over the tv at the mo !!! I just find it all a little strange ?!?!

RE: Iron Monkey

Still a whole £1 cheaper if you buy from Amazon though !!

Iron Monkey

If like myself you thoroughly enjoyed Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, a superb film in the same strain called the Iron Monkey is available at Amazon for £14.99, use a gift cert and a great price of £12.03 can be had, don`t worry if you used the gift cert further down courtesy of Fuzzy Boy (I think the thread was "cheap crouching tiger, hidden dragon please", just use the second one he posted and a discount still applies. The film has more action and more intense fight scenes than CTHD and has some seriously good sequences !! A must buy if you love the martial arts !!

RE: best sound moment in a movie ever!your thoughts?!

SPR beach landing is rather cheeky, but to be honest I can`t wait for when Return of the Jedi is released, the speeder bike scene on Endor will rock your world !!!

RE: Slightly off topic - But let`s hear it for the England boys tonight !!!

I would love to see the the Welsh lads in the Euro`s, it would make for some serious good viewing especially if they ended up in the same group as England !!!

RE: Slightly off topic - But let`s hear it for the England boys tonight !!!

Totally agree, that tosser should not have been on the "Psycho" documentary his extremist attitude was definitely not the correct mentality to be shown with regards to the English fan. It may just be me but his comments with regards to the Northern Ireland game were atrocious !!

RE: Where do you sit on when watching DVDs ?

I like to get in the mood, my missus once caught me in a full blown scuba suit whilst watching Men of Honour !! Preparation is everything when watching a movie, everything must be close at hand, curtains drawn, front and back door bolted and your special cushion nicely nestled into your back !! Lovely

RE: Slightly off topic - But let`s hear it for the England boys tonight !!!

It must be said that the "Psycho" documentary was seriously good, the respect I have for that man is seriously high, he just seems a real down to earth type of guy. I also found it highly amusing that he had to drink 8 litres of water before he could take a whizz !!! V funny (I don`t think he found it all that funny at the time though!!)

RE: Slightly off topic - But let`s hear it for the England boys tonight !!!

Oi and the Arsenal collective !!! (Well that`s of course if Seaman, Keown and Ashley Cole play !!!!)

Slightly off topic - But let`s hear it for the England boys tonight !!!

A must win situation, the only problem being that I will have to watch my copy of Traffic after the game (oh dear another late night !!)

RE: WHY DID I CHOOSE DVD INSTEAD OF VIDS

Jesus, this must be a wind - up !!!

X-Files Season 1

Right the cheapest I have seen it for is from dvdcrave (I think it worked out at about £55), but it`s not in stock, I`m panicking a little due to the fact that some sites have it listed as deleted (i`m hoping this is incorrect) Anybody know what the cheapest is ?!? Please help I`m desperate !!

Blow

Just seen the movie Blow and was seriously impressed, Johnny Depp is a perfect typecast for George Jung. A must see !! (I know it was good due to the fact that the air con had broken down in our local odeon and it was seriously uncomfortable in there, you know how it is sweaty nads and all that !!)

RE: The second Matrix film - Reloaded ?!

Here`s the lowdown !!

The word went out in an official press release from Warner Bros. late yesterday. Producer Joel Silver and the Wachowski brothers have officially announced the title of Matrix 2, and it`s not the oft rumored Matrix 2.0. The official title for the highly anticipated sequel is The Matrix Reloaded!

The announcement was made by Warner Bros. Pictures` president of Worldwide Production, Lorenzo di Bonaventura. Di Bonaventura said, "The Matrix is an astonishingly innovative and influential film. We`re thrilled that production is underway on the next installment, anchored by our stellar cast from the original film. Joel Silver and the Wachowski brothers took the action thriller genre to a new level, and I`m as excited as every other fan to see where they take us with The Matrix Reloaded."

Producer Joel Silver was also on hand. He commented on the high expectations for the Matrix follow-ups saying, "We know we set the bar very high for this sequel. Driven by Larry and Andy Wachowski`s singular vision and combined with the brilliant creativity of our cast and crew, we`re going to deliver all the cutting-edge action, explosive story and mind-blowing special effects that the fans and the franchise deserve."

The release also gave some production details reiterating the plan to conduct preliminary photography in Oakland until June, and then break three months in anticipation of Screen Actors Guild strikes. In September the production will move to Fox Studios in Sydney, Australia.
