RE: Bad News This Christmas

dkuk I`m so sorry to hear of your sad news. My condolences to you and your family at this difficult time. My thoughts will be with you. Give your wife an extra hug tonight, I really feel for you all. :(

Been away for a while

Not been having the best of weeks, first I was assaulted on Saturday (remember that guy who was crank calling me, it was him) to cut a long story short he tried to drag me into his car and hit me and I fought back. Don`t really want to go into it right now but the police were not even remotely interested, they turned up the next day after I called them! Meanwhile I`m left looking like a pirate for Christmas because I have an eye patch on to cover my big swollen eye. F****** **** >:( >:( >:( >:(

My warehouse got broken into as well and I have had about £5k worth of stock stolen which would have been sold at double that price. >:( >:( >:( >:(

I haven`t slept a wink since Tuesday. I last ate something on Tuesday also. I`m terrified of going out and I have to fight it everyday because I will not less this bastard get the better of me. I`m on the edge and stressed out, I have been doing urgents all week at work and I have to work on Christmas f****** eve. >:( I`m snapping and arguing with everybody, I know its not them I`m angry at, I even smashed up all the Christmas presents. :(

I am just tearful all the time and prone to crying outbursts. As if this time of year isn`t hard enough for me already. :( I`m hanging in there, barely.

Trying to retain what Christmas spirit is left in me, I wish you and all of your families a Merry Christmas. :)

RE: Star Wars trilogy - £14.99

Thanks for the offer Simon but I don`t want to deprive you of something that you bought for yourself. Very kind of you though. :)

I will complain until I am blue in the face over this, it is just not fair that even now coming up to half five that people living elsewhere can still get them. >:(

I wonder if I had got it yesterday if they would have honoured it. :(

RE: Star Wars trilogy - £14.99

Tweetz here is the link for Watchdog

Select shopping and then high street shops.

RE: Plans for the weekend?

LOL ste and yes I do like the new hat :D

Rass we should be in Farringdon around 10 ish we`re going to a bar called One of Two. :)

Still feeling rough, it doesn`t help that it`s TOTM either. >:( I feel like killing everybody and the next minute I want to cry because there`s no milk left to make a cup of tea! :/ Men have it so easy. >:(

RE: Chavstation 2 shortage!!!

playthefilm I think Currys/Comet had some in stock this afternoon. :)

RE: Star Wars trilogy - £14.99

I called Argos cust. services and they told me that it was a one day offer and that nobody had managed to get it at the price of £14.99. Liars! >:( The woman I spoke to said she would call the branch and ask the manager if he would be willing to sell it to me for £14.99, think you can guess the response to that question! >:(

I don't care what anyone says I contacted Watchdog as if other people have managed to get it why can't I? >:( If it was a one day sale then why the hell didn't it say that on their website? Why were the reservations allowed for two days? Why is it that still many, many people today on the 10th (today) are still able to go into Argos and get copies? She also said that they have now told all Argos stores to refuse to honour at the £14.99 price. It's one thing to say it's a misprice and not honour anybody's order but to blatantly lie to me about nobody received a copy and one day sale bollocks when I know people are still getting copies today really p***es me off. >:(

I`m not having it, I`m having a bad day already and am throwing my toys out of the pram as of now. >:(

Plans for the weekend?

Went to college last night and we didn't even have a lesson we just had a large table of snacks/drinks. I started on the red wine, moved onto white and a can of Fosters for good measure (I hate any form of alcohol that's not spirits) but what they hey, and then we were just playing hang man and that game where you have to guess what someone is mimicking (think it's called charades?) you'd be surprised how funny this is after a few drinks. :D

We then headed straight to the pub after starting off the drinking sesh at college in class and got absolutely bladdered. Even got our teacher p***ed lol :D I'm so out of it this morning and last night whilst attempting to go home I must have fallen asleep on the train and overmissed my stop by about 30 stops lol. :p I staggered down the road (the wrong road) and spent about 10 minutes trying my key in the door before I realised it wasn't my house LMAO. :D

Just feeling really 'off' today, slightly nauseous oh and for some reason both my hands hurt like hell, feels as though I`ve been lifting some heavy weights or some tremendous workout and I can't seem to get my right arm and hand to work properly. I`m typing this with one finger on my left hand. What the hell happened there? :/

It's amazing the topics you end up discussing, I think we were talking about religion, sex, relationships, it was so funny. I found out that after a few drinks everyone wants to tell me their life story or confess something to me. One of my classmates told me that her partner had just had another baby two days ago with another woman. :o One of the guys who was 45 told me he was gay, another girl was telling me about her low self esteem and relationship problems, another guy telling me about his problems with women/teeth/oral sex LOL :D

I ended up smoking some fags (I know, I know) and we were the last ones to leave the pub. In actual fact they threw us out because we were taking too long to finish our drinks lol! All this on an empty stomach *groan* I just knew I should have stuck to coke. I think my body today is made of 70% Jack Daniels. ;) :)

And it`s all happening again tonight *groan* Going out with the girls to Pitcher n Piano and then some bar in Farringdon. Saturday taking my bf to go see Blade Trinity and go out for a meal somewhere (that is if I`m able to function lol). Hopefully on Sunday I have an appointment with my bed! :D

Anybody else doing anything this weekend?

RE: Whose NOT working over Christmas

Same as you Rass, half day Christmas Eve then back Thursday 6th Jan. :)

RE: Late night munchies

What in the hell are potato cakes??

James when you do find any let me know! :D

RE: Late night munchies

The one in the white wrapper is the one I really like. I haven`t seen it in ASDA, well not down here anyway. :(

RE: How pure are you?

kywy you`re the same age as my dad :)

71% is respectable for someone of your stature. Times have changed a lot since the 1800s :p (just kidding!) LOL :D

RE: Late night munchies

James is that Nestle Crunch the white chocolate one? If so they sell them in abundance near where I work.

Comedy genius! 42%er you should be on stage :D :D

RE: Where are you doing your Christmas Shopping this Year?

Ventured up to Oxford St/Covent Garden/Piccadilly last week - nightmare!!

I have done about 90% on-line, going up London was more to try on clothes see what bargains I might find on the High St. What did I buy? Underwear sets from La Senza, lots of Body Shop baskets (it was 25% off everything on Saturday), aftershave/perfumes, a few DVDs, clothes, Timberland boots, books, vouchers, nose stud, trainers (as a present to myself) ;) and more clothes. There was probably a whole load more but that was off the top of my head.

RE: How pure are you?

ROTFLMAO!! :D :D

RE: Star Wars trilogy - £14.99

Quote:
Bummer Nina, I tried to reserve a copy for you again and they are out of stock. Tried to reserve in all the London stores. All gone.Sorry

Bless you sweetie but I`m sorted for a copy but thanks anyway. :)

RE: Got a Virus on my PC - need help!

Ben you need to get rid of Norton and go with AVG, Norton are crap IMO. AVG is free, do a search on here for it the link to d/l it should be in one of the posts.

RE: Star Wars trilogy - £14.99

Batavia did you just walk into high street ken off the streets or did you reserve it and then buy it?

RE: How pure are you?

42%er I haven`t laughed that much in ages thank you! :D

I suppose you could liken it to a man who has lots of the demon juice, as in pints of the stuff, things could get very messy but then isn`t that half the fun? The aftermath LOL :p

By the way and just to clarify, I am not a floozy, anything I answered yes to has been with my OH and nobody else.

RE: Please check a site for me

I get `This page cannot be displayed` and it took ages to load up. :/

RE: Attn Nina

I`ll keep an eye out for you and say hello :)

I have seen quite a few peeps from here on there.

RE: Attn Nina

Yes, I`m skiving as per usual. It`s a wonder I ever get any work done ;)

Who are you?

RE: Star Wars trilogy - £14.99

G-Man is Wood Green zone 2?

RE: Late night munchies

GSK in Brentford, they even had their own free in-house coffee set-up like Starbucks and served free food to their employees! That is one company who certainly knows how to look after their employees :)

RE: Star Wars trilogy - £14.99

Touch wood it should still be at this price tomorrow

If it`s not Rass I`m holding you personally responsible for my "loss of bargain" and shall see you in court! :p

I`m wondering should I call up the store I reserved it from and ask them their price in store? That way if it is £29.99 then I won`t have had a wasted trip and might save someone else the hassle of going up there only to be told they have to pay £29.99. :/

RE: BA: (WSL) FREE 7600 + 12 months FREE line rental!!!

Emily if its over 6 years it gets deleted from your credit file. ;)

Also if they keep pestering you for the debt after this time go to Trading Standards they love this sort of thing! I had to go there with my OH after Cellnet (what O2 was known as many moons ago) kept chasing him for a bill that he had never run up about 2 years after the 6 years were up and TS tore a strip off them, OH also received some compensation!

RE: Star Wars trilogy - £14.99

I`m in London, there are copies available.

Edit: All the London stores do seem to be sold out. :( I can`t even order a copy for home delivery as it says sold out and I tried 4 different addresses.

I`m getting kind of worried now, is anyone picking theirs up today??

Gordy they take the £150 deposit if your credit is not good. Same thing happened to OH years ago.
