Ive been told to try the purple ritek dvd-r`s in my E55. Can anybody confirm their compatibility on other players after being recorded on the panny?

Im having problems with playback of my dvd-r copies on other dvd players which have been copied on my panny. They all either skip or freeze but play fine on the e55. Ive tried a few different dvd-r`r but to no avail. Am i doing something wrong? Any suggestions welcome.

Im sure Jackie Chan would give them a job. Some of it, such as jumping of a wall & running along a vertical wall ( just for a second or two) and landing on another wall was amazing. Kinda looked like wire work as used in The Matrix. I was impressed by it!

Question on 3D Dvd`s

I just wondered if anybody here has seen any of the Imax 3D Dvds ( ie Alien Adventure, Haunted Castle & Encounter In The Third Dimension? Could you tell me if these are any good and worth purchasing? Thankyou.

Double imaging on programs!

Ive recently been trying to use my digital camera but when i loaded the software from cd rom i couldnt use it because it was putting a double image on the screen. I dont know if this is due to a virus or anything like that but its definately not the software because i borrowed somebody else`s cd rom and this did the same. Do you think that it could be my hard drive. Ive run a thorough check with scandisc and this found nothing. Anybody pleeeeeezzz help me !!!!

i am using the standard rca connectors as my surround system is just dolby surround (not 5.1) but if my scart (from tv to dvd) is plugged all the way in then the sound only comes out of the centre speaker and not the main speakers and the rear ones. Like i said before if i pull the scart halfway out of the dvd or tv then the surround kicks in and it seems fine. I also have a scart lead that has rca connectors but this seems to do the same. The dvd player is an alba dvd108.

Problem with sound from my Dolby Prologic surround system

Just wondered if anybody could help me on this. When im playing a dvd and i want the sound to come out of all the speakers i have to pull the scart halfway out so that the audio pins are`nt making contact with the socket properly. Is there another way i could do this?

P.S The only way i have found is to feed the dvd player through the vcr but sometimes the macrovision protection wont allow this!

Can anybody tell me how to avoid the 2 hour restiction that freeserve allow? Or is there no way of doing this? Its very annoying when you are downloading something or are in a conversation on a chatroom.

Transfering windows 98 from one hard drive to another. Help needed !

Im thinking of getting a new hard drive and fitting it myself. The only problem i have is how do i transfer my windows 98 from my old drive to my new one? Any help would be appreciated
