Page 1 of Her on X-Factor in the wheelchair ... con artist ??!!

I don`t post very often but Im so frustrated at the woman on X-Factor who has conned Sharon into putting her into the live show.

She was not better than the singers that were sent home, she received the sympathy vote.

Two things I have noticed;

1) She has cried on many occasions over the past few weeks, I`ve never seen tears ...

2) There`s a picture of her in The Sun today stood up with crutches ... she does not intend to use her wheelchair every week !! Why did she use it throughout the audition process ??

Make of it as you will.

Believe me when I say I have some sympathy for the women but playing on it .. is that right and ethically correct ??

My understanding of the audition and bootcamp process is that it involves long days with a *lot* of waiting around. It`s likely she couldn`t cope with all that without the wheelchair and assitance. Being in a wheelchair doesn`t mean her legs don`t work at all.

I don`t believe she was one of the best 4 over-25s though. And it was very good PR to have Sharon and her henchmen carry her down from the stage in her chair.

It`s all phony - not just her in particular.

I actually disagree. I think she is one of the best acts on X-Factor this year.

Not good enough to win, but up in the top 5, IMO.

From what I remember of the little I read of that article (after spying the picture / headline) it quite clearly stated that she can only use the crutches to keep herself upright for very short periods of time as she gets very tired and would collapse after that period of time elapsed.

Just remember a picture can only tell part of a story, it needs the descriptive text to give you all the necessary facts

It was a shame to see her voted out on Saturday, but she was never going to win. She sang a lot better than some on there though.

The one with the afro will win it. He has been groomed too from the start. He reminds me of mick hucknal or heather small in as much that he sings out of tune but for some reason I am the only one that can hear it and everyone else raves about then.

I agree with you. He has about as much talent and personality as a plank. God knows how drivel like the macdonald twins are still there. It`s for reasons like this that I have a sense of apathy towards this programme/karaoke contest. The last group (Eton Rd??) to perform the other evening absolutely butchered a classic song - mind you they all did that!!

You know David Brain the weatherman? I imagine that if he sang, he would sound like ashley.

A bit like mulligan and o`hare.....

I can`t stand Ashley. I hate his voice it sounds like there`s an orange stuck down his throat.
