Help choosing broadband provider

timechaser (Elite) posted this on Thursday, 23rd November 2006, 11:53

Hi - I am currently on AOL using the silver service i.e. the 1 Mbps line (my line cannot support more, nor do I need/want more). Initially I had chosen AOL for the unlimited download service, but now I find myself not using the capacity at all. I just surf and send/receive emails.

I am paying £14.99 for their package at the moment. Wondering if there is a cheaper provider out there who can give me a 1meg service? I dont think I need to worry about caps anymore, given the limited surfing I have. 3gig or so would be more than enough for me.

Any help appreciated! Many thanks... hows Virgin btw? They have a package for £9.99...

TC

if you`re in a Telewest supported area, you won`t go far wrong with them.

i use the 2meg service (£17.99 p/m) and have had no problems with it.
the "distance from exchange" problem of ADSL broadband is also not
an issue.
