On contract with BT with a Sony Ericsson t630 phone.

How do I or can I turn off the answer machine service when I don`t pick up a call as BT cleverly charge for picking up messages and I rather have the service switched off. Tried looking in manual. Help please.

Have you tried entering the number 1760 and pressing dial ? this turns callback off on a BT / 02 mobile I have got and 1750 will turn it back on.

i did this 2 rung cust services free from mobile (DIAL150) THEY TURNED OFF MY ANSWER MACHINE ON MY V600 COS I COULDNT SEEM 2 DISABLE IT MYSELF USING THE PHONE

SORRY FOR THE CAPITALS IM JUST 2 LAZY 2 CHANGE THEM ;)
