MULTI-REGION PHONO PROBLEM

REALPAUL H (Competent) posted this on Monday, 26th March 2001, 12:48

Do any of you guys know of a way around the following problem.
A mate of mine has a really old Sony projector which uses phono connectors only. I borrowed him my hacked multi-rgion player so he could have a look at the picture quality on his 6 foot screen.
Problem is, when playing a disc other than R2 coded he only got a black and white picture. When played through the t.v using scart it`s fine.
We think the problem is because we can`t use scart or s-video, even scart to phono does`nt work. Can anybody offer any tips on how to connect these guys and restore colour?.

than, u vurry much.

your player is sending NTSC discs out as straight NTSC perhaps? See if you can persuade it to convert to PAL.
