Why am I always so suspicious of people that say `just send me your e-mail address` ?

People : this is a public forum - if you`ve got a hack, don`t post tempters like these - they can be miscontrued as advertising on the quiet.

Just give it up please.

Sharp - although I wouldn`t advise it you can send the guy an e-mail at your own risk. Otherwise wait for the 505 specialist, Iron Duke.

Thanks

Firstly, you use the REPEAT button, not REPEAT A-B.

Secondly, just type 3 8 7 6 7 and the number 02 should appear. From what you describe, it appears you`re pressing the 0 (zero) button before each digit, which is wrong.

Thirdly, beware of strange men bearing e-mail addresses :-)

Hi Wonder

Actually checking thru your postings would substantiate that, so I`m sorry if I jumped the gun a little. There have, sadly, been some unscrupulous people who post their e-mail addresses so that innocent people can post player hacks to them, and then the Arthur Daley types charge ridiculous amounts to other people for the info.

It is very apparent that you don`t fall into this category, but you can perhaps understand my caution.

Perhaps an alternative would be to post the hacks at a time when you`re not quite so busy, or from home. I`m certainly not the only one of a suspicious nature at these forums.

Now, why is that man at number seven looking at me like that - is that an axe in his hand - OOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMIIIIIIGGGGGOD !!!

Soz, got a bit paranoid there for a minute.

Cheers mate

The handset hack you describe above does not work on all firmware versions of the 305 unfortunately. However, the older AIWA/ALL-FOR-ONE hack also listed on this site definitely works as far as I know.

It would appear that you DVD player is pre August 2000 and therefore either needs to be :-

a) Have the firmware reprogrammed.

b) Have your player chipped.

Recomended contacts for :-

a) ecivres[at]ku.oc.sreltubjt

b) seiriuqne[at]ku.oc.spihcdvd
