I am considering buying a mutiregion version of the Pioneer 530 (silver version of the 535) from Techtronics, does anybody have any experience of this player and / or Techtronics?

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

You might find the mechanism be a bit loud ....
But I don`t think u`ll be disappointed.

Got my 530 from Techtronics. Great little player. I thought it was a bargain at £198 and I know a few people who`ve bought one since and are happy with it.

As for the noise, it is not as bad as a VCR is and is only noticeabl at the start of the disc or after a layer change ( must be noiser at the middle of the disc)

Great player though, you wouldn`t regret buying one.

Ditto Bigfan`s comments.

I initially bought an Alba 103 but took it back, threw an extra £50 in and bought a 530.

Best thing I ever did.

Better players exist, but for the price I am really happy with it.

Service from Techtronics was good, ordered Monday and arrived Friday.

Shout with any more questions.
