Page 1 of swf files to video files

not sure if this is the right section for this. But does anyone know of any programs that let you convert swf animations into avi or mpg files cos i cant seem to find any except one that costs a couple a hundred dollers.
i really need to get my happy tree friends and the like onto the dvd player.

I`ve never heard of any way of doing this. Other than recording onto DVD via the tv out on your PC a full screen animation then pumping it back in as avi.

thanks Clayts i am gonna need to mess with it but it seems to be going ok. Just need to get the audio riped out of the file.
