Page 1 of Pixar short films

Anyone know if this has a R2 release before Christmas?
The person I want to get this hasn`t a multiregion player.

From dvdtimes.co.uk:- Buena Vista Home Entertainment have announced the UK Region 2 DVD release of Pixar Short Films Collection: Volume 1 on 8th October 2007.

But I ain`t seen it yet!

Or on Blue Ray:- Walt Disney Studios has announced that it will release its first ever collection of Pixar short films exclusively on Blu-ray. The Pixar Short Films Collection will feature a single disc set with 13 of the animator's short films including Oscar winning and Oscar nominated favourites such as Geri's Game, For the Birds and One Man Band.

Although most of these shorts have appeared as trailers on Pixar's full-length film releases, it's the first time that they will be seen in high-definition. Its release has been timed to coincide with Pixar's first feature to arrive on Blu-ray, Cars. Both titles will be released on November 6th.

The 8th of October was the original release date but the date has now been pushed back until sometime in 2008.

No reason has been given as to why but I`ve seen some people suggest it has been delayed so that the new release date will coincide with the release of Ratatouille.

I`ve seen it in spanish shops for about 15/16 euros.Obviously the packaging is in Spanish but it can be watched in English
