I``ve been looking through the threads for a main supplier of Criterion DVD releases without much success. Can somebody let me know where the best place to buy them from is & which DVD`s are worth buying.

Crikey, how long`s a piece of string?

Suppliers of R1 DVDs can get hold of most Criterion releases. Play, Movietyme, ABSound, Amazon etc. You may find it useful to use a website like DVD Price check to find the title you`re looking for:
http://www.dvdpricecheck.co.uk

In terms of which ones are worth buying, only you can answer this subjectively. What are your tastes? There are loads of good discs! Action, thriller, old stuff, new stuff, the list is long.

Check out online reviews and the Criterion website for its list of movies at:
http://www.criterionco.com.

Hope this helps,

Anil

What does OOP mean? I have seen it a number of places.

Also, are OOP discs different to Criterion ones?

Thanks.

Criterion discs listed on Reviewer:-

http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/reviews/artists.asp?Index=1063

I have Life of Brian and The Rock from that list, both of which are excellent DVDs.
