I feel like documentary has gotten a whole lot better recently. with films like murderball, supersize me, grizzly man, some kind of monster, and born into brothels

And it`ll probably hold true this year as well because I saw a new documentary called Favela Rising. breathtaking Amazing seriously.

Myabe it`s just me but docs feel like alot better right now

Another good documentary, that has a superb DVD set, is The Corporation. The extras are very comprehensive, almost like Corporation Part II.

Well worth your time.

I would agree.......Murderball and Grizzly Man were a lot better than all the other recent fictional films I`ve seen.Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill was also quite good although not as thought provoking as some.
True life when filmed well is more interesting and as weird as any comic book inspired movie.
Many documentaries are more passionate and immediate than many of the films that have to go through 15 levels of censors, committees etc.

:p
