Play.com are doing pre-orders of Torchwood series 2 (5 discs) at just £14.99. Amazing value. 8)
Nobody else is doing it for less than 36 quid. RRP 49.99

It`s released on June 30th.
Reckon it may be a mistake so best act fast.

How can they not honour it, its their pre-order price??

Ive just ordered it as they state they wont charge until its released. As far as im aware dont alot of places offer cheap pre-orders and honour them on release date. What are Play like for this?

I`ve just received an email to cancel the order as it was listed at an incorrect price ! I checked on the site and its gone up to 37.99, thought it was too good to be true.

I`m a bit hacked off at this. Surely if they advertise the price they have to honour it? It`s not as if the price was only up for a couple of hours it was on the site for days.

I think we could do with an FAQ on questions like this as it comes up every time...

Prices advertised by retailers are in the eyes of the law only "an invitation to treat" and have no legal status.
