SOUND PROBLEMS

I have set up my DENON 550 sd system and seem to have a problem with the sound from the speakers.
when listen to the voice from the speakers you hear what i can only call a "tinny lispe" sound in the background instead of the voice anybody help please

is there a way of setting the speakers for a room so that although the room shape is not perferct you can adjust speaker volume to overcome this.

Bought the 42" and returned it within 4 days. the sound and picture through SKY+ were milesssss out of SYC Goodmans said it was normal on plasma`s??? when they sent it for repair and it was not FAULTY. you really DO NOT WANT TO GO THERE

I have gone for the DHT550sd after much thought, as to the fan noise i contacted DENON regarding this and received the folloeing reply:

Dear Sir / Madam



There are no reported faults with the units regarding the fan noise. When you do turn up the volume you are using more power which will dissipate more heat, the fan will need to come on for obvious reasons. You could have a case when the fan can go faulty and start to make a noticeably louder noise.but this is very rare.

Connection/setup

Could anyone advise the best way to connect the following equipment

I have a 42" Panasonic plasma TV TH-42pa20 with the following connections

3 scarts (2rgb), component video, s_video input, composite video input, stereo audio input, stereo audio output.

I will be using SKY+ which has 1 scart vcr,one tv, S-video, optical audio out,
rs232, audio out L/R, areial in, rf out 1. rf out 2

And awaiting my DENON DHTSD to arive with the following connections.

SURROUND RECEIVER
Audio terminals
input:4 sets of analog,2sets of optical digitall
output:2sets analog,1set of optical digital,pre outputs for subwoofer and surround back l/r

I looked at the same, however went into comet at the weekend and bought the TH-
PA20B which was the display model for £1999, very happy with the result

i currentley run the screen through SKY+ but need a DVD/TUNER to replace old dvd and music system.
