yeah, when played on any device !! Is this just a particular problem with .xvid files tho ??
i cant convert to mp4 and keep any sound, but can mpeg an .avi file and keep sound.

I`m having a real problem and need some help please.
I can listen to any file via media player/quick time etc (mpeg,mp3,mp4 etc)
However...
No sound on any IE webpage !! so no viewing trailers, no youtube nothing !!
Now I find I cant burn any mpeg to dvd or dvd file etc coz the sound won`t transfer !!
Help !!!
I can`t reinstall XP coz I don`t have the discs.
I have restored to a previous point but same problem.

I wonder if it was never in the box in the first place - some f***-up in the factory.

That`s exactly my feeling -its strange how everything else is there. All software, leads etc.

Shall hopefully know more tomorrow - when/if HQ ring me !!

I sure hope they send out a replacement or ask me to return the original stuff. I couldn`t believe it when I opened the box - been waiting 5 days !! Gutted !!

Just received a parcel today.
Outside packaging intact - however inside the bloody item has been nicked !!
I`m thinking someone has repackaged the original box !!
I ordered a sat nav system from PCWorld - inside the box everything is there - packaging, software, leads, batteries etc - but no sat nav hardware !!
Phoned PCWorld who asked whether the seals were broke. I explained that all external packaging was intact but internally item was missing. They said I can`t return as I have broken the seal !! I said how can I check the item is there without opening the box ?? I also said isn`t it weird I have all the packaging, software etc ?
DHL said not their fault as the packaging was intact when I signed - which is true.
Have been passed on to PCWorld`s HQ - waiting call back.
Hope I get a positive outcome - but doesn`t sound good.
Any Advice ???

Thanks, but definately doesn`t have an auto option just PAL or Secam.

LCD TV Probs

Any help would be appreciated. My LCD TV doesn`t accept a NTSC output. This causes problems trying to watch region 1 discs. I get a scrolling colour picture !! I think the dvd player is fine cause before I changed to LCD everything was fine !
What can be done to rectify the problem ?? Anything ??

Mine too ! It`s an absolute steal for under £100. I normally miss these kinda things, so glad someone else benefitted as well. As a point of note mine came in a Dixons box !!

I don`t want to be money less and product less, although I do accept the refund issue.
Feedback for them is 100% but only based on 5 buyers/sellers.

I recently sold an item on ebay. The buyer would like a refund ( for a genuine reason, totally my fault), and I`m happy to oblige.
Now what is the done thing ?
Do I refund the money, then he returns the goods ?
Does buyer return goods, then I refund money ?
Do I minus postage on refunding ?
Obviously I don`t want to be out of pocket, but I suppose neither does the buyer.
Help appreciated.
