Read the threads. We`ve been through this.
Andy kindly sent me the disk and it worked - 10 seconds and result - region free - hacked.

Well I have to say a big thanks to andioxon for sending me the firmware update hack for the Tosh 220e. Brilliant - simplicity - itself!! Just popped the disk in and BINGO - 10seconds and done!! Multi-region 220e.

Thanks for the info guys - I`m new to DVD - but OK with PC`s. Any idea where to get the CD-R for the Tosh in question? Or are you saying that you can download the file(s) burn it and do it that way??

Not of paramount importance but hey if I can get something for nothing well hey ......
Whats the sort of going rate for chipping. I know we have a local store who can do it.

Let me know if you get an answer. I just got a 220e last saturday. Very pleased so far but need to be able to play R1 without MV.
