RE: does anyone know any hacks for the toshiba sd220e

Hi Klaus
Could send you the software but alas cannot because of forum rules. I`m expected to provided disk FOC for all who require them, Sorry but I,m not made of money and there for am no longer able to provide a much needed service. Though if you look though the forum there are many places advertising chip upgrades for £50 plus.
Best of luck
Andy

Steve,
You have to take risks in life, still good advise though. Problem is everybody wants something for nothing. I originally brought the eprom upgrade tool, (well got as far as ordering it anyway) only to be told it was was not reliable enough to sell and i should look else where for an upgrade or wait untail they can correct the problem. since then I have found the eledged software on the net that shops use to do the upgrade and found no problem at all with it. As I have said before it has worked fine and Im happy that I didnt have to spend £50 to do it. Of course people are welcome to spend a large amount of money to get the same results as the software upgrade.

Each to their own.

RE: does anyone know any hacks for the toshiba sd220e

Hi Dave,
The files that are needed are 2.15 mb split over 6 folders. so yes they could be sent over the net and a disk burnt (assuming you have a cdr)
Ther is however a charge of £3 for files send via the net or £5 for the the disk to be sent via the post to you.

RE: does anyone know any hacks for the toshiba sd220e

I bought the disk that does the job a couple of weeks ago, it cost me a fiver including P&P. Worked a treat and only took 10 seconds to do. My player plays any region disk i care to put in it.

RE: Toshiba sd220e

Did I miss something? when did someone say there is a remote control hack for the Toshiba sd220e? I know for a fact there is a software upgrade that takes 10 seconds to install.

Toshiba sd220e

Got a disk from a chap on the net, popped it in my dvd player and the job was done in under 10 seconds. sod all this £50.00 rubbish

RE: hack for toshiba sd220e

where can the disc be got????

RE: Bush DVD141TV combo hack?

I have the same unit and are unable to locate any hacks. I have been able to play one region 1 NTSC disk in it but not other region 1 disks. Ive no idea why this is. Surly its a matter of time until someone cracks this one.
