Synopsis:
This is your chance to re-live the hapless antics of Time-traveller and ex-TV repairman Gary Sparrow (Nicholas Lyndhurst).
Gary is still torn between the two women in his life - his long-suffering, but bossy 1990`s wife Yvonne (Michelle Holmes), and his 1940`s lover Phoebe (Dervla Kirwan). Is it time for him to make a decision?

This 2 disc set features all ten hilarious episodes from the second series of the critically acclaimed `Goodnight Sweetheart`.

`Don`t Get Around Very Much Any More` - Gary need to finance his and Yvonne`s move to a new house. Ron will not lend him the money but he suggests that Gary earns the money by going back to the 1940`s and investing it. Gary is reluctant, he may meet Phoebe. He does and she is now a changed woman - strong, sensual and passionate.

`I`ve Got It Bad, And That Ain`t Good` - Yvonne and Gary are still trying to sell their house. Yvonne still wants a baby but Gary has lost interest in sex. Ron advises Gary, who is still obsessed with Phoebe, to go back to the 1940`s and see if it is sex or Yvonne he has lost interest in.

`Just One More Chance` - Gary has lost his driving licence and his marriage looks set to end. He seeks comfort with Phoebe but feels guilty about Yvonne. He resolves to change and become decisive...

`Wish Me Luck` - Yvonne has been promoted but it means a move to Cheshire. Gary does not want to go and decides he will fake his own suicide and live with Phoebe in the 1940`s. But the 1940`s is not the bed of roses he thought it would be.

`As You Wave Me Goodbye` - Gary is beginning to regret his `suicide` and goes back to an amorous reunion with Yvonne. With an eased conscience Gary returns to the 1940`s and Phoebe, but all is not well...

`Who`s Taking You Home Tonight` - Having lost his job, Gary is now working at Nostradamus Press with Ron (Victor McGuire), but his time-travelling means that he is neglecting Yvonne. Phoebe invites Gary for a romantic dinner and so does Yvonne! But as ever, the resourceful Gary manages to spend the evening with both women - courtesy of the toilet window in his local Indian restaurant!

`Would You Like To Swing On A Star` - Gary finds an inventive way of making money, by buying rare 78`s in the 1940`s and re-selling them in the 1990`s. However, real stardom beckons when Gary enters a talent competition and is offered a spot on tour by the impresario Mr Wix; and, thanks to Yvonne, the lead part in a local theatre production.

`Nice Work If You Can Get It` - Gary`s singing career in the 1940`s is going very well, so are his amateur dramatics and his entrepreneurial trading in rare 78`s, but has he taken on too much?

`Let Yourself Go` - Gary has finally cracked up and his feelings for both women are even more confused. Phoebe is tempted by a young American RAF volunteer, but turns him down. Back in the 1990`s, Yvonne thinks she might be pregnant.

`Don`t Fence Me In` - In this, the concluding epiosde of the second series, Gary back in the 1990`s, is distressed to find that the demolition men have moved into Ducketts Passage. Could this mean the end to his time-travelling antics?
