Iron Maiden are one of the world`s biggest metal bands. They`ve been around for over 25 years and are still very popular. This DVD features a concert they performed at the Rock In Rio in Brazil in January 2001 in front of 250,000 people. The concert is very good featuring many of Maiden`s best songs.

The picture quality is fantastic but suffers from being fullscreen instead of widescreen. Considering the extravagant stage for this show, the full frame transfer doesn`t really help enhance this. But there`s nothing wrong with the picture besides that.

The sound quality is excellent. The DTS track is my preferred choice. Some good surround effects in the mix.

The extras aren`t bad. There are interviews with the band, A Day In the Life featurette and a photo gallery.

This is a great DVD from one of Metal`s finest acts. Now if only they release one of the Brixton Academy shows from earlier this year. Perhaps the one I attended.
