Death in Paradise (Series 3 - new lead actor)

Saturday 9PM on Alibi

Repeat viewing of the BBC1 series 3, but I have not watched the previous lead actor episodes, as did not like.

New lead actor... Kris Marshall (likeable) is replacing Ben Miller in the successful show shot in the Caribbean.

Comical quirky and a sort of Poirot type ending in each episode, where all suspects are sat down and the killer(s) is outed.

Only down side is (just like Poirot) is that the clues are either very difficult to figure out, or down right missing.

Still, quite an enjoyable show, in a laid back caribbean style. Goes down well with a bottle of rum and coke.

I've always liked this as a fish out of water detective show.  I thought Ben Miller was good in this but apt that he was killed off when wanting out.

Kris Marshall is a great replacement, I always thought he'd be a bigger star than he is currently though.

I also like Tamzin Outhwaite in New Tricks, another replacement lead...
