Watched 1st 2 episodes with Troughton as Salamander and couldn't wipe the smile of my face, I HATE the fact I had to download it from iTunes (although seemingly now you don't ) , surely 50th anniversary they could have put it on tv one Saturday night....or at least the Iplayer?

Anyway fantastic to see Troughton at his best......

So did anyone else check these out?? fantastic trip back in time (sorry i'll get me coat)

Waiting for the DVDs so I can really luxuriate in the experience.

From that link above did not realise the Brigadier was as far back as the Partrick Troughton era.

Yup Web of Fear as Col Lethbridge Stewart & promoted to Brig for The Invasion (which was a test vehicle for UNIT\Third Doctor).

Nick Courtney also pops up in The Dalek Master Plan playing Bret Vyon.
