New 8 part drama starts tonight on ITV () and looks like it could be good.  Has the superb Olivia Colman in (who did the best bit of TV acting I`ve seen in a while in The Accused last year).
9:00pm Mondays.

I would console the mum I can tell you.

I always go into an ITV drama expecting to be disappointed, and I usually am. And the dads opening walk through the town was like an episode of Camberwick Green. But that was soon forgotten. Very good so far. I just hope ITV can reign its instincts to go over the top in.

Another very good episode. Nice and moody.

One thing that bugged me. It is set in the 6 week summer season. So July/August. Unless I missed it, there has been no indication that this is set in the future. So at the latest this is set in the summer of 2012. If that is the case when the dead boys parents are watching the ITV news it shouldn`t of had the new ITV logo that came out 14th Jan this year.

where you working now Gavski... it was down at West Bay, we are just over the border near Honiton!

Well its over, thought the end a bit of a let down after all the speculation, and good acting thought the series.

The two were left on the beach at the end, with both looking like they were leaving the police force, one through health and the other just depressed at the outcome.

Good news though, Broadchurch will return, and I assume both will be private investigators instead. 

If that is an insight into the personal lifes and tolls on their mind of police persons, then I am glad I do not do that difficult job

Second series starts tonight, 9PM ITV.

A very drab start, with each actor looking absolutely bored to death, with a facial expression showing 'give me the money and lets get this finished'

Nothing like the last series.

I wonder if it going to get better.
