That will only happen if the show gets cancelled after season 3, as the plan is for the show to run for 6 seasons (eventually going through all of the books, albeit not necessarily in the correct order).

I can live with that! I just don't want two whole seasons of Hannibal on the run, before they remake the first one. It's not that I don't enjoy the show, I just don't want them stringing it out. One season a book would be good!
