Man City and the favourite for first manager to be sacked (at a guess)

OK so amidst all this transfer activity and rumour I`ve been thinking about the squad at Eastlands
Obviously I know that Hughes has said that he would buy before he sells so chances are there are people who have played their last game at City but just dont know it yet however I still reckon he`s going to have big problems in "keeping players happy"

Ignore the defence as they barely have one ;-)

Midfield :

G Barry, S Ireland, SWP, Elano, Kompany, De jong, Petrov, M Johnson, Etuhu

Attackers

Robinho, Tevez, Bellamy, Santa Cruz, Caceido, Evans, Benjani, Bojinov, Jo (technically) and Adebayor (alledged and looking meaningful)

Now I am seriously struggling to see how you play Tevez, Santa Cruz and Adebayor without not playing at least 2 of Robinho, SWP and Stephen Ireland

I know in this day and age there is this rotation babble going on but surely these players who had good years of late and/or just been signed won`t be too happy not playing???

I think you`ll find MH is just keeping the manager`s seat at City warm until a big name candidate shows an interest in taking City seriously!

i reckon there are a few other names ahead of hughes in the sack race.

my guess is phil brown will come first in the sack race - he talks too much and i can see a continuation of last seasons form.

maybe a technicality, but if the pompey takeover goes through, they`ll be after a new manager - did hart get the job permanently?

mcleish at birmingham seems to have an uneasy relationship with his board. they`ll sack him if they have a poor start.
