The picture quality is poor, I spent loads of times on forums & the camera part was recommended as a good camera. But on auto in daylight the pictures are two bright. The flash only comes on when it`s very dark so in between light/dark pictures are poor. The focus is soft. I had a 2MP Panasonic & it`s pictures are better & sharper. I have contacted Sony help line & they told me to upgrade the firmware but if this doesn`t help out can I still send the phone back under the 7 day rule.

If you do it via the official SE software or in an SE service centre you will be fine.
If you do it yourself via the net or in one of those unlock shops you will invalidate the warranty.

The Sony helpline said to Download it from their site on the net.

Strange. I think it is a great camera (for a phone) The flash works when I want it to.

Mine`s fine as well. I reckon Paull must have left the protective cellophane on the lens :)

Just worked it out Paull. If you take off your rose tinted man u glasses the picture will improve no end. :p

Unless it is very dark my flash won`t work. Does the light/dark setting have anything to do with it. I`m beginning to think I`v a duff phone.
