Best place to get blank dvd-r`s??

retrogeezer (Elite) posted this on Wednesday, 4th February 2004, 15:37

Don`t want to buy any that are too cheap and rubbish, also don`t want to pay over the odds.

Seen loads on ebay and Novatech have some pretty good prices but just wondered if anyone has probs with any type etc.

My burner is the Aldi/Pioneer 106

Cheers

Thanks - these seem like a good deal: www.bigpockets.co.uk/product.php?product_id=1029&session=4fcde97130628e01e46ba25dee730292

This is all new to me though, what`s the difference between + and - media, so many brands to choose from as well - aaaarrggh.

well they are only 1x which means it will take an hour to burn, :(

I use these,these

They are more expensive but in my opinion are worth the extra money because not only do they write at 4x (about 14 minutes) they are also very reliable and have worked in every dvd player I have tried them in.

Hope this help...

blankdiscshop and SVP are one and the same.
They are the first, and the only consistant, DVDR selling site that usually has the lead in info from ADVDinfo proggy.

I also like dealing with Steve and the gang, but they always do them damned weekend specials/low shipping etc. right after I`ve bought summat and just outside their own price promise!!
